Job Introduction

An opportunity has arisen within Catering and Cleaning Services for an Assistant Chef Manager to join the team at the above site.

 

You will assist the Chef Manager in the smooth running of the kitchen, ensuring effective instruction and deployment of staff in their duties takes place, also performing varied hands-on duties. This post will work across two kitchen sites: food will be prepared at St Johns and transported to Woodlands for service. The post may also require work in other Bradford Council buildings.

 

The following qualifications are desirable or essential for this post:- 

Desirable -    NVQ Level 2 in Food Preparation or equivalent i.e. City & Guilds 706/1 & 2

‘Successful candidate will be expected to complete NVQ Level 2 in Food Preparation or equivalent within 2 years of commencing employment’.

Essential -    Intermediate Food Hygiene

 Permanent and term time unless stated
 An Enhanced Disclosure check with Barred List will be undertaken for this post.
