Graduate Equality, Intelligence & Coordination Officer

37 Hours

Based at Sir Henry Mitchell House, 4 Manchester Road, Bradford BD5 0QL

Safer Bradford, the district’s Community Safety Partnership, is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic graduate to join the team as a Graduate Equality, Intelligence & Coordination Officer. This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop professional experience while supporting work that improves safety, reduces harm, and tackles inequality across Bradford’s diverse communities. 

You will support the delivery of key partnership priorities including Domestic Abuse and Sexual Violence (DASV), the Safety of Women and Girls (SOWG) Plan, the Serious Violence Duty, and wider community safety and equality commitments.

You will need to be able to:

  • Undertake research, analysis and data collection.
  • Provide evidence-based insight and support to Safer Bradford and DASV Partnerships.
  • Prepare clear written reports, briefings and summaries.
  • Support partnership coordination and delivery, including minute-taking and tracking of actions in relation to key priorities.
  • Work collaboratively with internal services and external partners.
  • Demonstrate Bradford Council’s values and behaviours, working in a positive, inclusive, responsible and flexible way.

 

This role is well suited to a graduate with an interest in inequality, social justice, research or policy, who is keen to build experience supporting work to prevent and reduce crime, serious violence and domestic abuse within a supportive partnership environment. You will need to be flexible and a strong team player.
