Job Introduction

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our Intelligence and Sufficiency Service in Bradford. We are looking for Planning and Sufficiency Lead to be part of our dedicated team.  

You’ll be creative, innovative and motivated to work alongside our experienced team with all aspects of sufficiency planning.  

You will have knowledge of the childcare market, as well as how schools and Multi Academy Trusts operate. It is expected that you will have knowledge of DfE statutory guidance around place planning, Ofsted requirements relating to both childcare providers and schools as well as the EYFS framework.

About the role:

The role is varied and ranges from encouraging development of new childcare places, where required, with the private and voluntary sector, to ensure we have a vibrant and sustainable childcare market. To supporting schools to increase or decrease their current capacity to make sure we have sufficient school places across the 

You must be able to demonstrate using and interpreting large complex data sets to support strategies around 0-16 place planning, as well as being able to present these to different audiences. Experience of SEND place planning is desirable.
