Job Introduction

The Facilities management team, within Assets & Facilities management, work across a number assets, and are responsible for both soft and hard FM across the Central Admin Estate, they are also responsible for the Councils central Access Control System, and manage the software, programming and production of the access control cards. 

We are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated, solution finder who will work as part of a team to be responsible for the day to day administration of the councils central Access Control System. 

  • As Apprentice Access Control officer you will be requires to undertake an Apprenticeship Scheme within the Department of /corporate Resources for which the main Responsible for the administration of the Access Control software across Central Administrative Estates and other sites 
  • Support with reviewing policies and procedures, working with and gaining sign off from TSOs and FMs.
  • Support with programming of new installations when new sites are added. 
  • Will be supported to learn with the day to day maintenance of the access control system. 
  • Support with the production of Access Control Cards.
