QMS Internal Auditor

Job Introduction
We are looking for a QMS Internal Auditor to join our dedicated team in the Department of Corporate Resources, Facilities Management. This role is an opportunity to make a real difference in our vibrant and diverse city.
The main responsibilities of this role:
- Carry out independent Audits to ensure compliance across the district
The scope of auditing will include all Head Office functions, to include: Catering Sites, Head Office/Central processes, Business ICT & Admin, Finance, Marketing, New Business Development, Mitre Court CPU, Building Cleaning and Operations
Management.- To produce an evidence based, concise, well written, evidence based report following every audit
- Complete supply chain audits as required to support the procurement process, plus Periodic supply chain audits linked to risk factors, which may be compliance to Food
Safety Due Diligence, Religious Authenticity, Specification Checks, Allergen Controls
or Supplier Performance - Given the nature of the post, it is expected that the post-holder will be impartial, fair and above reproach in ensuring a evidence based audit is completed. The post holder will also ensure compliance with the Bradford Behaviours, the Employee Code of Conduct, Financial Regulations and Procurement Regulations
- Responsible for the Health & Safety for self, colleagues and any parents/guardians whilst in FM work areas
- Assist the Supply Chain & Safe Methods of Working Manager in administrative duties across the area of work in which the SC&SMoWM operates
