Semi Skilled Gardener

Job Introduction

We are looking for a Semi Skilled Gardener to join our dedicated team in the Environment. This role is an opportunity to make a real difference in our vibrant and diverse city. 

The main responsibilities of this role:

• Work part of team or occasionally on your own. Carrying out general grounds maintenance duties eg. grass cutting, shrub, and flower bed maintenance or any other horticultural tasks identified 
• Responsible for ensuring that equipment is safe to use and that all safety requirements applicable to the operative, other employees and members of the public are adhered to.
• Responsible for the operation of and minor maintenance of mowing equipment, small tools and plant.
• Responsible for security of equipment and plant being used on site. 
• Responsible for carrying out works to a high standard
• Hold a full UK driving licence
