Job Introduction


Skills for Work is the skills and training arm of Bradford Council, OFSTED rated Good, April 2024. We are a high achieving, high motivated dedicated team delivering skills, training and Apprenticeships from entry level to Level Five. We welcome applications from suitably qualified and experienced candidates who want to make a difference in improving life chances for the Bradford District residents we are privileged to work with. 

  • To assist the Skills for Work Principal with the business and performance management of Skills for Work to ensure income and performance for government funded programmes, Adult Education Skills, including accredited learning, training and support, Vocational provision, and LEVY.
  • Sets and delivers clear, measurable outcomes by translating strategic priorities for Skills for Work into robust business plans, KPIs, and performance frameworks, ensuring targets are met or exceeded and demonstrating tangible impact on income and sustainable growth, 
  • Drives high performance and accountability by embedding a results-focused culture, using data, insight, and challenge to monitor delivery, address underperformance, and continuously improve services to achieve value for money and consistent, high-quality outcomes.
