Role Description
Bradford has seen transformational change over recent years with the multi award winning Transforming Cities Walking and Cycling scheme and is an incredibly exciting place to work right now! We are:
- Developing a Mass Transit line to Leeds
- Working on a new through railway station in the Southern Gateway to drive regeneration
- Developing a new transport interchange in the City Centre
- Delivering a wide range of active travel schemes to get people fit and healthy
- Working on an extensive list of other transport projects, studies and strategies
We are looking for a hard-working, passionate Assistant Transport Planner to work as part of the Transport Planning team to help us push forward with this work. You will assist with:

You will need a minimum of 6 months experience of working in an office environment.
Educated to degree level plus in a relevant subject (e.g. Environmental Science, Transport Planning, Geography, Psychology, Town Planning, Civil Engineering…)
