The Code of Practice on the English language requirement for public sector workers, Part 7 of the Immigration Act 2016 requires that Councils ensure that all candidates applying for customer facing posts must be assessed in order to establish their fluency in English.

This post is only open to Bradford Council Employees who are on Established or Fixed Term Contract because the Council has to consider employment opportunities for its workforce.
We are looking for a flexible and experienced Business Support Officer to join the Department of Adult Social Care, Health and Housing, predominantly supporting the Sensory Needs Service and the wider Older People’s Service. You will assist in the provision of a flexible, proficient and constructive clerical, administrative and reception service dealing with generic and service specific duties. You will be required to provide prompt and effective information, advice and access to services provided by Departments to colleagues, members of the public, other public sector bodies and external agencies.
This is an Office Based role working as part of a team at Morley Street Resource Centre.
