The Role

Bolton Council is transforming its estate to meet the needs of our workforce and communities. We are looking for an experienced Estate Administrator and Reporting Officer to support the estates team and property managers responsible for the delivery and management of the corporate and commercial investment estate.

This role is responsible for maintaining and updating the Council’s property management and case management system through accurate data entry and supporting the effective management of land and property assets through data reporting.

You will be responsible for data entry to the Council’s property management and case management system, to support and improve the performance of the Council’s land and property assets and associated property services, including the interpretation of property-related documentation such as leases, deeds, and tenure records and disposals to ensure correct and consistent information is recorded on the property management system.

About You

We are looking for a highly organised and proactive individual with excellent attention to detail and a strong commitment to maintaining accurate records and delivering high-quality customer service.

You will have experience of working with databases, case management systems or property-related information systems, ensuring data is recorded accurately and consistently. You will be confident interpreting and managing detailed information, including property-related documentation such as leases, deeds, tenure records and disposal information.

You will possess strong administrative and analytical skills, with the ability to produce meaningful reports and management information to support decision-making. You will be comfortable responding to enquiries from a range of stakeholders, including colleagues, tenants, landlords and external customers.

The successful candidate will be able to work effectively as part of a team, supporting Estates and Legal Services colleagues to maintain accurate asset and project records. You will also have experience of processing financial transactions, including raising purchase orders, managing invoices and monitoring outstanding actions.

We are seeking someone who is adaptable and keen to contribute to service improvement. You will be confident learning and supporting new systems and processes, helping to improve data quality, streamline workflows and enhance service delivery across the Council's property functions.

Most importantly, you will be motivated, customer-focused and able to manage a varied workload, using your initiative to support the effective management of the Council's land and property assets and the wider Corporate Property Service
