Hours: 37 per week and part-time hours 18.5 per week
Essential requirement: full driving licence, DBS
Essential qualification: Relevant level 3 qualification e.g. NNEB, NVQ3, BTEC, Early Years, Childcare, Health and Social Care, Youth and Community Studies.

The Role

Full-time 37 hours per week £32,046 to £35,570
Pro rata 18.5 hours per week £16,023 to £17,785

Wednesday, Thursday and Friday for part-time hours

1x part time temporary until March 2027

To provide high-quality Family Time sessions in appropriate environments achieving positive outcomes for Looked After Children and their families. The role delivers services flexibly in a variety of settings, undertaking interventions to contribute to the overall assessment held by Children and Families social care teams.
You will work with vulnerable families with complex needs to empower them to develop their parenting skills, improve the quality of family interactions, preventing family breakdown and supporting rehabilitation plans.
Our Family Time Support Workers contribute to the protection of children and will be able to identify and act upon risk of danger, harm and abuse.

About You

You will be able to communicate the planning, delivery and outcomes of Family Time and direct work within case notes, verbally and within recording systems.
You will deliver interventions, promote positive outcomes for children and families, prevent family breakdown and support rehabilitation plans.
You will have good organisational skills to effectively manage your case load, using agreed systems, rotas and calendars.
You will be able to develop effective working relationships with parents, children and colleagues, sharing difficult complex and sensitive issues
