The Role

Do you want to join a strong and dynamic leadership team and bringing with you significant experience and ideas to support our journey to outstanding?

In this role you will manage our child protection conference and independent review managers as well as the LADO the Safeguarding in Education Team and the Missing from Home co-ordinator.

This role is also crucial in, supporting the safeguarding executive and wider partnership.

You will oversee the business manager for the partnership and be responsible to ensure it is supported to meet its statutory functions.


About You

We understand that to deliver excellence for the children of Bolton we require excellent leaders. You will be an experienced social work manager with a track record of quality assurance and service improvement.
You will be a strong communicator and relational, able to build positive relationships across our partnership and provide the support and confidence on all matters pertaining to the safeguarding of children.

You will know what good looks like in terms of all social work practice and confident in challenging and driving improvements across services

You will need to demonstrate that you are a good communicator both verbally, including through presentation, as well as written skills

You will be abreast of the current national drivers and legislation which will underpin your rationale for service delivery.

You will have relevant management experience including experience of transforming services to deliver better outcomes for children and young people.
