The Role
£28,142 to £31,022, pay award pending
An opportunity has arisen for the recruitment of a Senior Lead Administrator in our Home Care Bookings Team
Bolton Council has had a Home Care Bookings Team for approximately 14 years supporting with the brokerage of domiciliary home support packages to assist and enable people across the borough to remain in their home and as independent as possible.
The Home Care Booking Team is made up of 1 x senior lead and 3 x resource planners. The Home Care Bookings Team support and ensure the speedy allocation of Domiciliary home support packages for both Hospital Discharges and in Community settings. It is responsible for the screening and allocation of packages of support on behalf of The Council via a computer-based information system. It ensures the allocation and changes to support packages to cover all existing and new requests for domiciliary provision and responds to customer demand from both internal and external partner agencies. The Team also supports with the booking and scheduling of short term respite breaks via an on-line system.
About You
We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and motivated individual who has a passion for working with people and stives to achieve the values and key principles of the organisation.
The Senior Lead Administrator will support the Team with the day to day activity but will also provide management oversight, undertake formal and informal staffing supervision and support the Service Manager as necessary. You should be an enthusiastic and motivated individual with excellent communication skills and the ability to network with people at all levels, both internally to the department and externally with third party suppliers
You should be an approachable person and have good working relations with colleagues, other professionals and customers and be confident and competent in the use of Information Technology.
