The Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for the role of Public Health Facilitator. Join a passionate and high performing team that are committed to supporting you and your professional development.

You will support the delivery of a portfolio of public health work areas to improve population health and wellbeing outcomes in Bolton which contribute to reducing health inequalities.

As part of the Public Health Team, you will part of developing key public health programmes, in partnership with other council directorates, local health and social care system, wider public and private sector, the community, voluntary and faith sector, and local communities.

You will support the commissioning of key public health programmes across a range of specific areas, including the regular review of interventions and services, using an outcomes-based approach.

It is expected that this role would be working from Bolton Town Hall (or attending meetings/events in Bolton) for at least half of the working week in line with the Councils Hybrid Working Policy.

About You
The successful candidate will be a proactive and motivated individual with experience of delivering projects and turning plans into action. You are confident building partnerships, influencing others and engaging a wide range of stakeholders.

You work collaboratively as part of a team, supporting colleagues and contributing to shared goals and outcomes.

With strong communication and organisational skills, you can prioritise effectively and use data and insight to support inclusive Public Health initiatives. You are committed to improving outcomes for local communities and making a positive difference.
