Grade I SCP 31 £41,771- SCP 35 £46,142 plus Essential Car User Allowance up to £963pa plus 7% shift enhancement.
Contract: Permanent.
Essential Requirement: Driving License, DBS, 21+
Essential Qualification: NVQ Level 4 in Care and in Management or the Registered Managers Award or Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management, DipSW (Social Work Degree) and a management qualification

The Role
As the Registered Manager you will take responsibility for the day to day running of the home, ensuring the highest standards of care, competence and safeguarding.
Key responsibilities are
Register an SC2 with Ofsted
Provide strong and inspiring leadership to the team fostering a positive and supportive culture.,
Oversee all aspects of the home’s day to day running ensuring full compliance of CH Regs, Quality Standards and all safeguarding requirements.
Oversee care planning, risk assessments and safeguarding procedures
Lead on staff development and performance management.
Ensure the emotional, behavioural, and development needs of children are met through trauma informed practice.
Prepare for and manage Ofsted inspections
Work collaboratively with social workers and other professionals
Be part of the duty out of hours management rota

About You
Are you an experienced, compassionate and driven leader with a proven track record of childrens mainstream residential care?
We are seeking to recruit a registered manager to lead an established childrens home and continue, along with the team, to offer a safe and nurturing environment in which children and young people can thrive.
You need to have 2 years’ experience of working in a management role in childrens residential care
You will have hold level 5 in leadership and management, or equivalent
You will have working knowledge of CH Regs 2015 and of safeguarding and best practice legislation.
