The Role
We’re excited to offer this opportunity to join us as a Head of Service for Youth Justice. The role will support direct case management of children and young people open to our youth justice services.

In Bolton we understand the complex relationship between youth justice, familial and contextual; safeguarding and those young people at risk of exploitation so you will also play a key role in supporting our wider safeguarding approaches as part of the safeguarding service

You will also form part of our wider strategic leadership team and will be pivotal as we move to delivery of Family Help, supporting us to develop our bespoke adolescent offer to help prevent more young people entering our criminal justice system.

You will support your team managers ensuring the continuous development of high quality services through strong supervision, quality assurance and effective performance management.

About You
You will be a qualified and SWE registered social worker with proven experience of managing practitioners and have significant experience of working and managing within the Youth Justice System.
