We are looking for committed and capable Social Workers to join our Statutory Specialist Services. This is an exciting opportunity to work within a specialist area, supporting adults whose primary need relates to sensory impairment, including visual and/or hearing impairment, through strengths-based, person-centred social work practice

You will have demonstrable social work experience, the ability to work positively as part of a team and in partnership with other stakeholders, together with an interest and skills to work with in the specific area of Sensory Impairment.

Working within the legislative framework, you will carry out social work functions, including working within a duty system, completing Care Act 2014 assessments by way of the 3 Conversations model, drawing on sound inter-personal and communication skills.

You will carry a caseload and will require the ability to produce reports and the resilience to deliver under pressure within required timeframes.

As we have vacancies across the service successful applicants will be allocated roles according to their skill sets and area of interest.

Please upload an up-to-date CV and Supporting Statement via the attachments part of your application.  The Supporting Statement should outline how you meet the criteria for the role through your personal qualities, skills and experience and include your motivation for applying to the post.  Note the Personal Statement should be no more than 1500 words.  Unfortunately, we cannot consider any applications without a CV and Personal Statement attached
