  • Manage substantial budgets and resources, ensuring value for money and effective service delivery.
  • Deputise for the Director of Housing Management and contribute to wider corporate priorities.

About You

You will bring:

  • Significant senior leadership experience within housing management, tenancy services or a comparable environment.
  • Extensive knowledge of tenancy management, enforcement, estate management, ASB, complex needs and services for older people.
  • A proven track record of leading large teams through change and delivering high-performing services.
  • Strong experience of partnership working with residents, elected members, statutory agencies and external stakeholders.
  • Experience managing significant budgets, resources and complex service delivery programmes.
  • A strong understanding of the legislative, regulatory and policy framework governing housing services.
  • Degree-level education (or equivalent experience) and membership of the Chartered Institute of Housing (CIH) through qualification or relevant experience.

Why Join Us?

This is an opportunity to play a leading role in one of the largest local authority housing services in the country.

You'll have the chance to:

  • Influence strategic decision-making at a senior leadership level.
  • Lead services that have a direct impact on residents, communities and neighbourhoods.
  • Drive innovation, transformation and service improvement at scale.
