Join Birmingham City Council as a Senior Delivery Manager and lead some of the city’s most important digital and housing‑related transformation projects. We’re looking for an experienced delivery professional with a strong track record in local government, housing services, and IT & digital project delivery.

In this role, you’ll take ownership of complex, high value projects  guiding multidisciplinary teams and ensuring services meet the needs of residents, staff, and partners. You’ll shape delivery roadmaps, manage suppliers, oversee budgets, and remove blockers so teams can perform at their best.

We’re looking for someone who has:

Significant experience delivering complex IT and digital projects, ideally within local government or housing environments.

Proven leadership of multi‑disciplinary teams, using both agile and traditional methods.

Strong stakeholder management, with the ability to influence, negotiate, and communicate clearly at all levels.

Experience managing budgets, suppliers, and commercial relationships.

A passion for improving public services through modern technology and user‑centred delivery.

If you want to make a real impact across Birmingham’s digital and housing landscape — and help shape services used by thousands — we’d love to hear from you.
