Central Control Room Supervisor

Are you an experienced supervisor with a passion for people, technology, and essential services?

We’re looking for a motivated Central Control Room Supervisor to help deliver our 24/7 Security Central Control Room Service, providing vital support that keeps our residents and customers safe every day.

About the Role

As a Central Control Room Supervisor, you’ll oversee the day-to-day operation of a busy, customer-focused control room. Working within a 24/7 environment, you’ll ensure services are delivered safely, professionally, and to the highest standard.

This is a frontline leadership role where your decisions and support will make a real difference to people’s safety, wellbeing, and peace of mind.

This is based on site at our control room in Birmingham B7.

Key Responsibilities

Supervise the 24/7 operation of the Central Control Room, ensuring compliance with procedures and service standards

Lead, motivate, and support a team of control room operatives, promoting an inclusive and high-performing culture

Monitor performance against KPIs, service levels, and customer satisfaction targets

Act as an escalation point for incidents and emergencies, making clear, confident decisions

Support service development and continuous improvement across Security operations

Champion the effective use of technology, including alarms and CCTV.

What We’re Looking For

We’re keen to hear from candidates who have:

Proven experience supervising or managing teams in a control room, security, care, call-centre, or emergency services environment

Strong leadership skills with a supportive, calm, and professional approach

Experience working with technology-enabled services or security systems (or the willingness to learn)

Excellent communication and decision-making skills, especially under pressure

A genuine commitment to customer service, quality, and value for money
