Fixed Term Contract to 30/09/2026
Grade C- £35,412 - £41,771
Consultation grade - subject to formal evaluation under the Pay Equity Review
Working 36.5 hours per week
Evaluating every role in the organisation, as part of the Equal Pay Programme, is one of the Birmingham’s key objectives for 2026.
To support the successful delivery of the programme, we are seeking a Job Evaluator to join our team on a fixed‑term contract until 30 September 2026. This additional role will strengthen the team’s capacity to achieve this aim.
This is a great opportunity for applicants who:
- Have knowledge of the NJC Job Evaluation Scheme (desirable) Gauge+ or are trained in a different scheme
- Possess strong analytical skills
- Have good experience of stakeholder management
- Can work at pace to meet tight deadlines
In return we will provide successful candidates with comprehensive inhouse Job Evaluator Training. Applicants will be required to work flexibly across the Council House, other Birmingham City Council sites and from home, depending on the programme’s needs.
