We are a dynamic local authority dedicated to delivering exceptional services to our community. Our function is at the forefront of innovation and efficiency, and we are seeking a highly motivated associate application support officer to work closely with the team managing first and second line IT application support queries.
The Role
We are looking for an individual with experience of IT support and working with customers.
The successful candidate will work as part of the team managing support calls and the ongoing support and development of critical line of business case management applications, supporting circa 4000 end users across Children's and Adults services.
Key Responsibilities
- Application Support: Work alongside senior team members to support applications and ensure service levels are met.
- Application Support: Ensure seamless support and operation of applications across multiple business areas ensuring a high level of customer experience.
- Relationship Building: Develop and maintain excellent relationships with peers and stakeholders within the business.
About You
- Experience: Demonstrable experience in providing application support and working with customers.
- Person Skills: Proven track record of managing own workload.
- Technical Skills: Strong IT skills, with hands-on experience in managing software applications.
- Communication: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships at all levels.
