Maths Teacher – Adult Skills Programmes (Sessional)
Grade B - £28,598 - £34,434 Consultation grade - subject to formal evaluation under the Pay Equity Review
Birmingham Adult Education Service (BAES) is looking for experienced teachers of GCSE Maths and/or Functional Skills Maths from Entry 2 to Level 2 for the academic year 26/27 to ensure that Maths learners have the best possible experience, achieve the best outcomes and are well prepared for their next steps.

Successful candidates will be able to
- Plan and deliver high quality learner-centred teaching, learning and assessment which meets learners’ needs, especially additional support needs and stretch and challenge
- Demonstrate a successful track record of impactful Maths delivery
- Provide advice guidance and support to ensure that learners achieve their long-term goals
- Share and promote good practice
- Contribute to internal quality assurance of accreditation
