About The Role

Bexley’s Multi Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH) is seeking to recruit a dynamic, experienced and highly skilled Social Worker to deliver an outstanding service to children and their families. 

This is a great opportunity to experience working in a busy, multi-agency environment that focuses on providing good quality advice to ensure that families receive appropriate support.

We are seeking skilled individuals who can bring more experience and knowledge to our MASH, you will have a close and supportive team.

To build positive, supportive, and respectful relationships with families in order to help support children in need of help or protection.

Candidate Profile

This post will be conditional upon the receipt of a satisfactory response to a check of police records via Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS).

This post is considered by the authority to be a customer-facing position; as such it falls within scope of the Code of Practice on English language requirement for public sector workers. The council therefore has a statutory duty under Part 7 of the Immigration Act 2016 to ensure that post holders have a command of spoken English sufficient for the effective performance of the job requirements.

The appropriate standards are set out in the JD/Person Specification. These will be applied during the recruitment/selection and probationary stages.
