About The Role

We are seeking an experienced and confident social worker to take on the statutory role of Local Authority Designated Officer (LADO). This is a pivotal position responsible for managing and overseeing allegations made against individuals who work or volunteer with children. You will lead on coordinating multi-agency responses, ensuring that concerns are handled promptly, proportionately and in line with statutory guidance.

The LADO role is both challenging and deeply rewarding, offering the opportunity to influence practice and support professionals with thoroughness and sensitivity. Working closely with multi agency partners, including police, education, health, children's social care and other agencies, you will provide expert advice, maintain oversight of all allegations management processes and ensure that children are safeguarded effectively.
