Job Title: Anti-social Behaviour Assistant
Band: 3
Location: Basildon Centre. Minimum 3 days in the office
Contract Type and Hours: Fixed term 12 months. 36.25 hours

About the Role
We are seeking an exceptional highly organised and customer-focused Administrative Assistant to support our Anti-Social Behaviour (ASB) Team. This is a key role at the heart of our service, helping ensure an effective and co-ordinated response to anti-social behaviour across the borough.
You will be the first point of contact for residents reporting ASB, providing professional, sensitive and timely administrative support to officers handling cases of nuisance, harassment and more complex ASB matters.
About what we are looking for
We’re looking for someone who has excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, can deal with sensitive situations with tact, empathy and professionalism. Someone who is highly organised, able to manage competing priorities and work independently and has strong IT skills and confidence using systems to manage records and data. The ability to work well as part of a team and contributes positively to service delivery is essential. Ideally the successful candidate has knowledge of ASB legislation and issues (or a willingness to learn)
