About the Role
We are seeking an exceptional individual to become part of Basildon’s in-house security Team. The role will be based at the Basildon Centre over a 24 hour day, 7 days a week on a shift system. To be responsible for the opening and securing the premise as required. Being a responsible key holder for the Basildon Centre and additional Corporate and Housing sites. Providing a Bronze level response as per the Basildon Council Emergency Action Plan.
We are looking for individual with the following skill set
- Experience in working within Security office
- Have valid SIA licence to include CCTV
- Experience in monitoring CCTV
- Full 3 day First Aid certificate
- Have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written including the ability to communicate with a wide range of audiences and the ability to acknowledge and adapt style of communication as necessary whilst maintaining good relationships
- Have Experience in testing and keeping documentation of but not limited to; fire alarms, building panic attack alarms, generator alarms, lift alarms, toilet alarms, refuge alerter, ability to maintain a record of duties / incidents, completing reports as necessary when required in line with policies and procedure.
