About the Role

We're seeking an enthusiastic and customer-focused ICT Mobile Engineer to join our IT and Digital team, providing critical support across our organisation and helping to deliver excellent services for our staff and residents.

About what/ who we are looking for

As an ICT Mobile Engineer, you will:

  • Provide 1st, 2nd and occasional 3rd line IT support both remotely and onsite.
  • Act as a key point of contact between users and the ICT Service Desk.
  • Install, configure, maintain and support hardware, software and mobile technologies.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve incidents and service requests within agreed service levels.
  • Support Microsoft-based desktop and server environments.
  • Assist with infrastructure upgrades, testing and implementation activities.
  • Contribute to projects that improve systems, services and cyber security.
  • Deliver user guidance and basic training where required.
  • Work collaboratively across teams to provide outstanding customer service.
  • Support out-of-hours activities when necessary for business-critical services.

What We're Looking For 

Essential Experience & Knowledge

  • You'll have:
  • Experience providing 1st and 2nd line IT support in a medium-sized organisation.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft technologies, including Windows operating systems, Active Directory, DNS and desktop support.
  • Experience supporting endpoint security technologies such as anti-virus, email security and endpoint protection solutions.
  • Knowledge of telephony systems and user support.
  • Experience using IT Service Management (ITSM) platforms such as ServiceNow or Autotask.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills with a strong customer focus.

Qualifications

  • A-Level qualification, relevant technical certification, or equivalent practical experience.
