About the Role
Are you organised, proactive and confident supporting high-profile meetings? Join our Governance team and play a key role in helping the Council make clear, transparent and well-managed decisions.
You’ll prepare agendas, support committees, attend meetings, produce accurate minutes and keep actions moving — all while working closely with councillors, senior officers and a supportive Democratic services team.
About what/ who we are looking for
You will need excellent organisational skills and ability to cope with challenging workloads; excellent written communication skills including the ability to write quality reports and minutes of meetings and the ability to work under pressure and in sometimes difficult emotional situations at the same time as maintaining high standards.
