About the candidate
The Governors are seeking to appoint a Canteen Assistant to support the Canteen Supervisor in the safe, efficient and professional operation of the School Canteen. Core hours for this job are 12.30 to 2.30pm Monday to Friday - with an additional hour on one of the days (negotiable). This person will form part of a team of catering staff - ideally suited to this role would be someone with excellent communication skills and an enthusiastic outlook.
The appointed person will assist in providing high quality, healthy food to our customers, primarily students but also staff and parents, in accordance with strict time deadlines and hygiene standards. Duties include operation of a Cashless Catering system and assisting with occasional special events.
