We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to work in our wonderful school. Part of the role would involve working 1-to-1 with a child with SEN. We pride ourselves in being a nurturing school and we are looking for the right person who is able to build very strong relationships with children.
Main Duties
To support individuals and groups to help them learn.
To establish an effective and purposeful learning environment in partnership with the teachers and other colleagues.
To support teachers in assessing the needs of individual children.
To observe, record and feedback information on pupil performance.
We are looking for a candidate with:
NVQ Level 2 or equivalent
promote the inclusion and acceptance of all pupils.
support pupils consistently while recognising and responding to their individual needs
the ability to rapidly build relationships
some knowledge / experience of primary schools
teaching assistant experience would be desirable
willingness to uphold the values of our Church of England school
commitment to safeguarding, inclusive practice and equal opportunities for all
