About the role
This role oversees the smooth, safe and compliant running of multiple council buildings. It manages day‑to‑day facilities operations, including fire, security, cleaning, maintenance, contractors, room bookings and helpdesk functions. The post holder leads and develops FM staff, monitors budgets, ensures Health & Safety compliance, and maintains strong customer service standards. They also support procurement, manage key contracts inclusive of SLA’s and KPI’s, liaise with landlords, and deputise for the Facilities Services Manager when required.
