<p><span style="font-size: 14.01px;">This is a key role in supporting the Council’s whole‑organisation change approach and the shift to resident‑centred, preventative and place‑based services that work across organisational and system boundaries. You will help embed a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement, strengthen leadership capability, and build organisational capacity for digital and data‑informed ways of working.</span></p> <h3>What you’ll be doing</h3> <ul> <li>Help us to set the OD Direction for the Council's Change Programme</li> <li>Act as a strategic OD resource, aligning leadership development and change interventions to the Council’s three core shifts: <strong>Reaction to Prevention</strong>, <strong>Complexity to Simplicity</strong>, and <strong>Surviving to Thriving</strong>.</li> <li>Build organisational capability for place‑based working, digital fluency and adaptive leadership by establishing a core curriculum (including technical skills) that equips staff to lead, deliver and sustain change and cost reduction.</li> <li>Embed employee voice, engagement and resilience as key drivers for change.</li> <li>Design and deliver leadership development programmes that build strategic, collaborative, digital and data‑informed leadership.</li> <li>Build change readiness across teams, strengthening resilience and adaptability.</li> </ul> <h3>What we’re looking for</h3> <ul> <li>A strong track record of leading OD strategies in complex, multi‑stakeholder environments.</li> <li>Expertise in designing and delivering leadership development, change management and employee engagement programmes.</li> <li>Confidence working with diagnostics, impact measurement and benefits realisation.</li> <li>Strong facilitation and communication skills, with the ability to engage diverse stakeholders and foster collaboration.</li> <li>Proven ability to embed equality, diversity and inclusion within OD and change activity, and to use insight and data to track outcomes.</li> <li>Resilience, emotional intelligence and the ability to lead through ambiguity and complexity.</li> </ul> <p> </p> <ul> <li><span style="font-size: 14.01px;">You’ll be part of a high‑impact HR/OD team helping to shape how the organisation leads and delivers change—supporting leaders and teams to work differently, improve outcomes and strengthen the experience for residents and communities.</span></li> </ul> <h3>How to apply</h3> <p>Please apply via the usual recruitment process and ensure your application clearly demonstrates how you meet the essential criteria.<br><br></p> <hr> <p> </p>
