<p>As a Building Safety Manager, you will be responsible for supporting LBBD in its role as Principal Accountable Person (PAP) by providing oversight and assurance across a portfolio of higher-risk residential buildings.</p> <p>You will lead on the day-to-day management of building safety activities, ensuring risks are identified, assessed, monitored, and mitigated while maintaining compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements.</p> <p>Key responsibilities include:</p> <p>• Managing Building Safety Cases and Safety Case Reports.</p> <p>• Coordinating building safety risk assessments and mitigation plans.</p> <p>• Drive resident engagement and communication activities.</p> <p>• Managing Mandatory Occurrence Reporting processes.</p> <p>• Monitoring contractor performance and compliance activities.</p> <p>• Supporting regulatory inspections and engagement with the Building Safety Regulator.</p> <p>• Maintaining accurate building safety records and the Golden Thread of Information.</p> <p>• Working collaboratively with internal stakeholders, residents, contractors, and regulators to drive continuous improvement in building safety.</p>
About you
<p>You are dynamic and experienced with a passion for Building Safety. You have a proactive and a creative problem-solving mindset and capable of addressing challenges.</p> <p>You possess proven ability to inspire and motivate the team to achieve ambitious goals, fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration.</p> <p>You are adept at overseeing day-to-day high standard of service delivery, ensuring efficiency, compliance, safety and engagement of residents.</p> <p>You are skilled in building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, including residents, elected members, and partners.</p>
