Financial Assessment Officer

About this job
You will Work within the Financial Assessment team to provide a comprehensive assessment and income service for the council. Calculate clients’ financial contributions (financial assessments) towards their Residential and Community Care Services ensuring that you also work within the Council’s Fairer Charging Policy and Social Care Act 2014.
We Manage and support the financial wellbeing of service user that are under the Councils appointeeship and any service users appointed to the Council by the Court of Protection.
You will aid the service in supporting and advising clients through all forms of communication with regard to their relevant accounts with the council. Actively liaise with colleagues within other services and agencies to build strong working relationships.

Subject to a DBS Check to meet Department of Work and Pensions Mandatory Compliance.
