<p>We are seeking a highly motivated and organised individual to join our Parking Services team as a Civil Enforcment Support Officer .</p> <p>This is a varied and rewarding role supporting the day-to-day operation of the Council's Civil Parking Enforcement (CPE) service. You will provide operational, administrative and supervisory support to ensure the effective enforcement of Traffic Management Orders in accordance with the Traffic Management Act 2004.</p> <p>Working closely with enforcement managers and frontline teams, you will help coordinate resources, maintain enforcement equipment and vehicles, analyse performance data, and ensure the service delivers excellent standards of compliance, customer service and operational performance.</p> <p>A key aspect of this role is supporting mobile parking enforcement operations across the borough. The successful candidate will be required to patrol on a council-provided moped and undertake on-street operational duties, including the monitoring, supervision and shadowing of Civil Enforcement Officers carrying out moped patrols. The role requires regular travel throughout the borough to support enforcement activities, conduct inspections, provide operational assistance and ensure service standards are maintained.</p>

<ul> <li>Must have Full driving license and CBT or full motorbike license.</li> <li>Required to wear PPE and uniform</li> <li>Walking long periods in all weathers.</li> </ul>
About you
<div> <p>We are looking for someone who has:</p> <ul> <li>Experience in parking enforcement, highways, transport, regulatory services or a similar operational environment.</li> <li>Experience supervising staff, coordinating operational teams or monitoring service delivery.</li> <li>Strong organisational, administrative and problem-solving skills.</li> <li>Excellent communication and customer service skills.</li> <li>Experience analysing performance information and producing reports.</li> <li>A full UK driving licence.</li> <li>The ability to safely and confidently ride a moped as part of regular operational duties across the borough.</li> </ul> </div>
