We are seeking to recruit a Performance and Information Officer and the role will focus on children’s social care.
You will report to the Senior Performance and Information Officer and the key responsibilities will include extracting information from case management databases through tools such as SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS) and Business Objects and interpretation of this information through data analysis and performance management, as well as report building and the design and maintenance of comprehensive performance frameworks.
The Performance and Intelligence Unit comprises two teams: a performance and intelligence team responsible for performance data and data analysis/intelligence across Children’s and Adults’ Social Care, Youth Justice, Community Safety and a systems team responsible for the implementation and development of social care databases, such as Liquidlogic and Childview.
The unit is led by the Head of Data Insight and Intelligence, with two principal managers managing the two teams. We are a team of specialists that use our skills to understand and inform demand, outcomes and improve the commissioning of services for our most vulnerable residents.

About you
We are looking for a highly-skilled candidate with strong analytical skills, knowledge of children’s social care and have an excellent working knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite.
You will have proven experience of working with children’s social care performance and reporting functions. In addition to this, the ability to work cooperatively and effectively within and across teams with internal and external stakeholders, as well as excellent communication and organizational skills.
