Build specialist expertise.</strong></span></p> <p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14px;"><strong>Parent Assessor (ECAS)</strong></span><br><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14px;"><strong>Children’s Care & Support</strong></span></p> <p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14px;">We are recruiting to our new Expert Court Assessment Service (ECAS) — an innovative service focused on delivering high-quality, court-ready parenting assessments that improve outcomes for children.</span></p> <p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14px;">This is an exciting opportunity to develop specialist skills in assessment and court work within a supportive and forward-thinking team.</span></p> <p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14px;"><strong>About the Role</strong></span></p> <p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14px;">As an ECAS Parent Assessor, you will work as a specialist practitioner, delivering analytical parenting assessments within pre-proceedings and care proceedings.</span></p> <p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14px;">You will:</span></p> <ul style="text-align: justify;"> <li><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14px;">Complete high-quality, child-focused parenting assessments</span></li> <li><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14px;">Produce analytical, court-ready reports</span></li> <li><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14px;">Contribute to timely decision-making and reduced delay</span></li> <li><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14px;">Work collaboratively with legal services and partner agencies</span></li> <li><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14px;">Develop expertise in court-based social work practice</span></li> </ul> <p style="text-align: justify;"> </p>

Special requirements for this post

<p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14px;">We welcome applications from qualified and experienced candidates. You will need to have a Social Work. You will need to hold a current SW England registration.</span></p> <p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14px;">This post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and a comprehensive screening process will be undertaken on successful applicants including an Enhanced Children’s Department of Barring Services check.</span></p>
