<p>This is a very specific opportunity for someone with the skills to work in a therapy context with parents and children whose lives have been affected by substance use. You will firstly need to be able to evidence your level 7 academic therapy qualifications and your ability within to work dyadically with parents and children.</p> <p> </p> <p>This is a post where the candidate will need to be resolved to working in a large organisation and in multi-disciplinary partner agency settings, managing safeguarding contexts where material is shared appropriately for the safety of the child.</p> <p>This is a post which requires IT skills, and a passion to promote service development, through data and model development.</p>

About you

<p>This is an incredible moment to supervise and work alongside the children’s hidden harm worker, already established in the team, enabling parents to understand the interface of their adult world with that of the child’s, thus noticing the effect of hidden harm on the safety and emotional well-bring. The work is to use therapy processes to enable the parents to offer something so both they and the child have a narrative to support their lived experiences, and emotional management.</p> <p>This post requires candidate to be exceptionally self-aware, emotionally resilient and robust, conversantly clear, respectful, courteous, and straightforward. This post and service is positioned under the therapy team manager. This is a fixed term contract for a year, but it’s something that we are committed to developing within resourcing possibilities.</p> <p>This post and reflected salary is for a skilled integrative/ psychotherapist.</p>
