Role: This is an exciting opportunity to become a full-time experienced play and creative therapy deputy team manager for a year! The post is grant funded. This position requires you to be a visionary play therapist who is organizationally adept and system savvy, to join us, a small highly experience team based in the East of London

This post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and a comprehensive screening process will be undertaken on successful applicants including an Enhanced Children’s Department of Barring Services check

About you

Team remit: The team offers, therapeutic life story work, bonding and attachment work therapeutic care work, Sibling group work 1:1 play and creative integrative therapies, training and supporting professionals, parents and carers alike, providing psycho-educative and therapeutic care. Working with adolescents in the system, as they move towards life decisions. We are committed and intentionally respectful of cultural sensitivity and all aspects of identity in relation to diversity and disability.

Deputy Tasks: The incoming deputy role is to support the team manager in the development of the therapists and therapy provision, in tasks relating data, processes, service development, clinical supervision, and training. They will be required to be theoretically and analytically adept for the purposes of delivering strong professional language and presence. The incoming deputy must be able to come onto the therapy site three days a week, as this post requires a model of hybrid working.

About us

Us: The therapy team are situated within children’s social care to provide expedient poignant, psychosocial responses to the traumas that such a cohort of children experience. We work closely with all partner agencies, particularly between social care and decision-making arenas as an advocate for the child’s voice.
