Consultant Occupational Therapist

About this job
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Occupational Therapist to join our team in a permanent role, providing leadership and support to the occupational therapy service. In this role, you will take a lead in triage, screening, and initial referral decision-making, while overseeing the coordination of assessments, equipment provision, and home adaptations to support individuals with disabilities to maintain independence within their homes and local communities.
The successful candidate will play a key role in the ongoing development of occupational therapy plans, assessing and advising on appropriate equipment, adaptations, and assistive technology to promote independence for adults with disabilities.
You will also contribute to effective joint working by collaborating with a range of professionals across statutory, voluntary, and private sectors, ensuring the needs of service users, families, and carers are identified and met.

You will be a qualified OT and have an up to date registration with HCPC This post carries a requirement to have an Enhanced DBS check for both Children and Adults.
